Delivery Driver (22-26 ft. Box Truck)

DPI Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver for our client, a reputable f amily- o wned business with an excellent team environment, to deliver heavy restaurant equipment throughout the Portland metro area and surrounding regions. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right individual.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Occasional OT)

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a 22-26 ft. box truck to deliver restaurant equipment to customer locations
Load, unload, and transport heavy products using proper lifting techniques and equipment
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries
Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures accurately
Provide professional, courteous customer service during all deliveries
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly
Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience operating a 22-26 ft. box truck
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely
Strong attendance and reliability
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to adapt and make sound decisions throughout the workday
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Skills

Experience with route driving and GPS navigation
Forklift experience is a plus
Strong time management and organizational skills
Experience handling physically demanding work environments
