You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access-related activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, property-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and maintenance-related observations in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site personnel and visitors, following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
