The Coffee Shop at Baptist Health Lexington provides high-quality beverages, food items, and exceptional service to patients, visitors, and team members throughout the hospital. The Barista playsan important rolein creating a welcoming experience by preparing coffee, espresso beverages, and food items while ensuring accuracy, quality, and excellent customer service. This position supports daily operations through safe food handling,accuratetransactions, cleanliness, and adherence to hospital and regulatory standards.

TheBaristaprovides exceptional customer service by preparing and serving quality coffee, espresso beverages, and food items in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This roleis responsible foraccuratecash handling,maintaininga clean and safe workspace, and following all food safety, sanitation, and organizational standards to ensure an outstanding experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Description:

Prepared coffee, espresso beverages, and food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.

Delivered friendly customer service by taking orders, answering product questions, and recommending menu items to increase sales.

Accurately processed cash and credit transactions, balanced registers, and completed end-of-shift cash reconciliation.

Maintained compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, HIPAA, and organizational policies.

Cleaned andmaintainedequipment, monitored inventory levels, and communicated supply or equipment needs tomanagement.

Ensured a clean, organized work environment while providing efficient and courteous service.
