Read and interpret truss-work orders, select lumber and truss plates, set up and stage truss components. Operate truss presses. Recognize and report assembly problems in a timely manner. Load trusses onto trucks. Learn sawing techniques and load lumber onto the saw. Stack and label cut materials and band bundles. Maintain work stations and areas. Attend and participate in Bloedorns-sponsored training, when required. Perform other assigned duties, responsibilities, or tasks. Qualifications Complete and pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background screen. Possess or have the ability to obtain Forklift Training certification. Speak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language (preferred). Follow and apply simple one- or two-step instructions. Have basic math and measurement skills. Work Environment / Physical Demands Work in both an indoor plant environment and outdoor setting subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise, dust, and vibration levels. Occasionally lift/move objects up to 100 pounds, stand, and walk. Regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
