Overview Department: Cardiology Shift: Midshift (10:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Facility: Saint Joseph Medical Center Location: Joliet, IL Responsibilities Use ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricles, and left atrium, and visualize blood flow. Assist the physician with complex ultrasound procedures. Promote the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through effective utilization and management of clerical functions, document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships, and information gathering and dispersion. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Completion of Echocardiogram program certification preferred. EKG rhythm analysis / interpretation certificate or equivalent preferred. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and mandatory to maintain current at all times. Able to assist physician with TEE testing preferred. Previous experience in performing echocardiograms of all ages preferred. Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred. Registered Echocardiographer preferred. ARDMS or CCI credential required. Able to perform stress testing preferred. Pay Transparency The salary range for this role is $36.24 to $52.89 per hour.
