Print Press Operator

This role supports daily production operations by safely and efficiently operating assigned machinery. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment. Whether you are new to machine operation or bring prior experience, we provide the training and support needed to be successful. What You’ll Do: This position is responsible for producing high quality documents, products, and services utilizing printers or inserters. The position will use a variety of printing, inserting, and finishing equipment such as cutters, folders and banders. This position will require extensive knowledge of the software and hardware used to produce and mail printed media. An individual will be able to assist with the setup and maintenance along with running assigned equipment. The position reports directly to the Operations Supervisor or Facility Manager to prioritize client work requirements and ensure that projects are completed on a timely, accurate basis. You’ll also be responsible for: • Learning, maintaining and demonstrating knowledge of all job, equipment, and operating procedures • Continually monitoring print/inserting quality to ensure that all work produced meets the highest quality standards • Receives and processes work assignments based on management direction • Informing management of any established production targets that can’t be met. • Making suggestions regarding paper, productivity, and work flow options.
