Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

This position plays a critical role in maintaining production equipment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and fabricating repair parts to keep operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Fabricate repair parts using shop equipment and tools
• Rig, move, transfer, and install heavy machinery and equipment as needed
• Inspect equipment and identify maintenance needs before failures occur
• Utilize welding and fabrication equipment for repairs and modifications
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Required Qualifications

• Strong industrial maintenance or mechanical maintenance experience
• Extensive experience working with:
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • Valves
  • Pumps
  • Motors
• Ability to read and use basic measurements and mathematical calculations
• Experience operating welding and fabrication equipment
• Ability to safely rig, move, and install heavy equipment

Equipment & Machinery Experience

Experience maintaining or repairing industrial equipment such as:

• Cooling machines
• Roller machines
• Furnaces
• Mill machines
• Production and manufacturing equipment

Tools & Equipment Used

• Welding equipment
• Drills and drill presses
• Grinders
• Saws
• Hand trucks
• Overhead cranes
• Rigging equipment

Work Environment

• Large pipe manufacturing facility
• Non-climate-controlled environment
• Large production bays equipped with industrial ventilation and high-volume fans
• Physical role requiring movement throughout the plant and interaction with heavy manufacturing equipment

This is a Permanent position based out of Wildwood, FL.

The pay range for this position is $61651.20 - $61651.20/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

92% employee paid benefits. 29.64/hr includes company pays 92.5% health insurance, (1.75 extra in their paychecks) 4% 401k + 4% max = 8 max
