Commercial Plumber (Journeyman Preferred)

Location: Birmingham, AL

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Type: Temporary Project (Approximately 2 Weeks)

HireQuest Direct is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber for a two-week project in Birmingham, Alabama. We are looking for dependable professionals with commercial plumbing experience who can step in and contribute immediately. Journeyman-level plumbers are preferred.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems.
Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Install piping, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems.
Perform testing and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.
Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

Journeyman-level commercial plumbing experience preferred.
Previous commercial plumbing experience required.
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and installation methods.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience working on commercial construction projects.
Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Must have your own basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces throughout the workday.
Comfortable working in an active commercial construction environment.
