Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients including those experiencing preterm labor, across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, Pre-Op, Post-Op, OB-GYN, and low-risk antepartum care
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery as needed
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
• Administer high-alert medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on unit need and individual skill set; staffing ratio of 1:1–3

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license; compact license accepted and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Ability to commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be honored

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with high-risk deliveries and transition nursery care
• Comfort floating to Post-Partum or NICU settings
