Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take an essential role supporting surgical teams by providing skilled operating room support in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity is tailored for experienced professionals eager to contribute their expertise in perioperative care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday)
• On-call responsibilities: Minimum of one day per week and one weekend per month
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist or ORT
• Certification as a Surgical Tech (required)
• Demonstrated expertise in supporting surgical procedures and maintaining sterile environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to cooperate effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced surgical teams
• Professional communication skills and dedication to continuous learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and instrumentation for procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols
• Assist surgeons and OR staff during operations
• Monitor, count, and manage surgical instruments and supplies
• Support patient positioning, prepping, and transport
• Maintain accurate documentation and detailed intraoperative records
• Respond reliably to on-call assignments as scheduled
