Job SummarySupervise production processes & personnel to produce pharmaceutical stoppers on assigned shifts. Responsible & accountable for adherence to procedures, proper production, quality, maintenance, safety & schedules on assigned shifts; promote effective team member/Company relations to help improve customer service & Company profits. Assigned shifts may include fixed &/or rotating shifts.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day production activities of plant products at the most economical cost consistent with prescribed quality standards in a timely manner. The incumbent is responsible for the cost performance of the assigned unit.Create short-interval look-ahead production schedules that make sure that upcoming events are communicated, tracked and are being proactively attended -toPromote all site initiatives including plant safety programs, lean initiatives, training programs, etc., and consistently interpret and apply all HR policies, practices and procedures among our plant personnel.Assure Standard Operating Instructions and Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to.Participate in the resolution of employee complaints and personnel or performance issues and/or coach employees to encourage teamwork. Routinely evaluate and review employee performance.
