Irrigation Technician

We are seeking an Irrigation Technician to help maintain, repair, and improve irrigation and drainage systems while supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. What You’ll Be Doing Maintain, repair, and improve irrigation and drainage systems throughout the community to support healthy and sustainable landscaping. Troubleshoot and repair sprinklers, irrigation lines, valves, controllers, and electrical components. Install and maintain pumps, filters, and irrigation system components, including seasonal winterization and start-up. Assist in programming and monitoring irrigation control systems to ensure efficient water usage. Perform general groundskeeping duties during off-season periods, including manual labor and landscaping support. Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely while maintaining a high standard of performance and service. Follow safety procedures and respond calmly in emergency situations while completing other duties as assigned. About You Minimum of one year of experience in irrigation systems, drainage systems, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of irrigation hydraulics, systems design, and backflow devices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Experience operating landscaping equipment such as trenchers, loaders, or other machinery. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
