Location: Jersey City, Charlotte, Jacksonville Salary Range: Submit at market rate Introduction Seeking an AI engineer to design and build AI-powered accelerators, agents, and automation frameworks that modernize enterprise legacy applications and streamline software delivery. This role sits at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and architecture, focusing on transforming technologies like .NET Frameworks, Mainframe, Datastage, TIBCO into Java, containers, and cloud-native architectures. - 7 years of experience in modern programming languages like Python or Java.
- 1 year of hands-on experience building Gen AI or Agentic AI solutions.
- Experience with databases like DB2, SQL Server, Oracle.
- Experience developing AI-powered apps using LLMs, RAG, and agent.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, container/cloud-native development.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Experience in modernizing legacy platforms such as .Net frameworks, TIBCO, Mainframe (COBOL/CICS).
- Hands-on experience with .Net or Java for enterprise modernization.
- Design and build AI-powered accelerators and automation frameworks.
- Develop RAG solutions, fine-tune prompts and agent behavior, and optimize tokens.
- Implement guardrails and evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
