Technical Business Development Manager

Technical Business Development Manager – Precision Components (Midwest Territory) Are you a hunter with a strong technical sales background in manufacturing? Do you enjoy working directly with engineers, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and winning new business in highly technical markets? We're partnering with a well-established U.S. precision manufacturer that has built a reputation for producing high-tolerance metal components for demanding industries including industrial automation, instrumentation, hydraulics, semiconductor equipment, and other precision-driven applications. This is a remote, field-based role covering the Midwest Region, reporting directly to the President and playing a key role in driving the company's next phase of growth. What You’ll Do: Develop and execute a strategic new business development plan Prospect, identify, and close new manufacturing customers Build relationships with engineering, procurement, and operations leaders Review technical drawings and specifications to determine manufacturability Collaborate with engineering and production teams on customer solutions Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close Represent the company at customer sites, industry events, and trade shows What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of outside sales experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineered products Experience selling into technical or engineering-driven environments Familiarity with precision machining, Swiss CNC machining, or metal component manufacturing Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Proven track record of developing new business and growing revenue Strong consultative selling skills and ability to navigate complex sales cycles Self-starter who thrives in a highly autonomous environment Why Consider This Opportunity: High visibility role reporting directly to executive leadership Strong technical manufacturing platform with significant growth potential Opportunity to help build and shape the commercial organizationCompetitive compensation package including base salary, incentive plan, and benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
