As a Systems Engineer on NGI, you should have a complete understanding of at least one of the key system subject areas with the opportunity to work in all fields to include systems definition, decomposition, allocation, traceability, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, analysis, and test. Some of the roles and responsibilities you will leverage your expertise and talent to accomplish include, but are not limited to, the following: • Support major program reviews, including SRR, PDR, and CDR• Participate in specification and interface development/documentation, and support the development of verification plans•You may also have the opportunity to participate in system-level analyses in support of mission planning/execution and tests at various test ranges. Systems Engineering approach and processes 2. Requirement definition, decomposition, and allocation 3. Interface definition (ICD, IBDs, IDDs) 4. Missile system analyses used in requirement derivation and verification 5. Planning and coordinating hardware and/or software testing for verification 6. System integration 7. Supporting SRR, PDR, CDR 8. Writing specifications and/or formal, peer reviewed technical documents9. Using DOORS Requirements Management software10.
