About the Role

We are seeking an EHSS Supervisor to join our team at our Alsip bakery . As an EHS Supervisor, you will be accountable for leading environmental, health, and safety programs while driving training initiatives that ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and strengthen employee capability.

Shift: Supports all 3 shifts

Compensation

Salary Range: $75,000 – $80,000

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)

• Lead and implement environmental, health, safety, and training programs to improve workplace safety and capability
• Partner with supervisors and managers to drive safety awareness and ensure consistent program execution
• Design and deliver OSHA-compliant training aligned with regulatory and operational requirements
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Manage emergency response programs, including First Aid, CPR, and AED training initiatives
• Analyze safety and training data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Develop and enhance employee, trainer, and manager capabilities to ensure effective training delivery

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience supporting training programs in a manufacturing or operational environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels
• Ability to maintain safety records, reports, and training documentation

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced certification in safety, employee development, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience applying adult learning theory in training program design
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience designing and implementing learning and development programs
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry
