SITE SAFETY TECHNICIAN

Join Peak, a leading company in the construction industry, as a Site Safety Technician. This role will be based in the Silverton TX. Excellent opportunity for an OSHA 30 candidate who is looking to build their resume on a site safety role with an established General Contracto on a large-scale commercial contruction project .
Lenghty project with overtime during this period.

Commercial construction experience required. OSHA 30 minimum required with FirstAid, CPR, AED certifications.


Must be willing to work overtime as needed on a flexible schedule


Be able to furnish OSHA and other certifications for your file.


Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce site-specific safety plans
• Conduct daily safety inspections of the jobsite
• Identify and correct hazards
• Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and pre-task planning sessions with crews.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with safety managers, project managers, and superintendents/foremen to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain safety documentation, including inspections, training records, and incident reports.
• Liaise with owners, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies on safety-related matters.
• Act as the on-site champion of safety culture, ensuring every worker goes home safely.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of recent construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 Construction (minimum).
• Strong knowledge of site safety
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for engaging with crews and management.
• Ability to recognize hazards and implement corrective actions quickly.
• First Aid/CPR and AED certification required.

Pay is based on experience but generally between $40 - $48 per hour.
