Job Title: Cleanroom Technician Job Description

Join a positive environment and growing team as a Cleanroom Technician with a semiconductor equipment company. Your role will involve assembling, configuring, installing, and testing mechanical and electro-mechanical components within a cleanroom environment.

• Assemble, configure, install, and test mechanical and electro-mechanical components in a cleanroom environment.
• Utilize various pressure, flow, calibration, and temperature instrumentation.
• Perform product flow testing of flow restrictors and monitor and record test data.
• Perform verification testing to meet quality standards.
• Conduct visual inspections of flow restrictor assemblies and incoming production material and collect samples for further inspection if required.
• Package and label flow restrictors for inventory and shipment.
• Work from detailed assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of the manufacturing engineer.

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience, preferably in a cleanroom or semiconductor environment.
• Experience with mechanical hand tools such as torque wrenches.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude.

• Certificate or AS degree from a technical school or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office with an emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to read and understand schematics/blueprints is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleanroom protocol is helpful but not required.

The work environment is a climate-controlled cleanroom in a facility with approximately 50 people. You will be part of a small team of 10-15 members. The standard shift is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The attire is casual, allowing for sneakers, shorts/pants, and t-shirts. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Austin,TX.
