Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a facility located in Cleveland, Ohio. This position involves providing specialized critical care for post-cardiac surgery patients in a 20-bed Cardiothoracic ICU unit. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment. The role focuses on managing patients with various cardiac and thoracic conditions, including those on multiple advanced medical devices.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; NIHSS certification or equivalent; current Ohio nursing license; at least 0 years of relevant ICU experience
• Additional Information: The position involves caring for post-cardiac surgery patients, managing complex devices such as CRRT, Tablo, Aquadex, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), HeartMate III, external VAD, and ECMO. Nurses will titrate drips including sedation medications and vasoactives, perform line and chest tube removals, mobilize patients, and monitor daily weights.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
