Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position is based in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing patient care on various med-surg floors with telemetry monitoring, including orthopedic, neurology, oncology, surgical telemetry, and med-surg tele units. The nurse must be adaptable and willing to float across different units, including a secondary campus located approximately 9.5 miles from the primary facility.

Job Details:

• Locations: Des Moines, Iowa, with secondary coverage at a campus approximately 9.5 miles from the main location.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; completion of a nursing education program; willingness to float to all med-surg floors including orthopedics, neurology, oncology, surgical telemetry, and med-surg telemetry; at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring is preferred.
• Additional Information: RN must be willing to float to all med-surg floors including the following: Orthopedic, Med-surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, Med-Surg Tele; and must be willing to float to the WestLakes Campus, approximately 9.5 miles from the primary location.
