Teller (Member Services Rep I - Part Time - Turkey Creek)

Schedule Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 7:30pm; two Saturdays per quarter 8:15am – 1:00pm. Pay Starting range $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions. Accurately process all teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments within established limits, and in accordance with Credit Union policy. Maintain cash drawer or cash dispenser with minimal discrepancies. Maintain accurate, up-to-date knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Perform other teller duties such as issuing money orders, processing debit card disputes, issuing temporary and cashier’s checks, ordering checks, opening and closing sub‑accounts, and processing stop payments. Respond to member requests, problems, and complaints. Answer member questions regarding account issues, products and services and perform account maintenance. Review account information for restrictions and funds availability. Provide members with information on account status. Analyze and research account issues. May serve as the branch Membership Officer or Security Specialist. May review completed loans and/or titles to ensure accuracy. Train to operate the vault and open/close the branch, as needed. May open new membership accounts. May process, close and disburse consumer loan applications. Work as a productive and contributive team member of both the branch and Credit Union team to reach goals. Each individual is responsible for contribution to the overall goals of the branch and the Credit Union. Meet and exceed members’ expectations while maintaining quick and efficient service. Follow Service Standards at all times. Counsel members about Credit Union products and services based upon members’ needs. Promote services based upon members’ needs. Educate and assist members with electronic and online services, such as online banking, mobile applications, remote deposit. Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations. Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior and performance). Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Work cooperatively with others. All other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Cash handling and service‑industry experience strongly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
