Senior Consulting Manager

Our client is a rapidly growing advisory firm working at the intersection of finance, real estate, and the public sector. The firm is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team and oversee a portfolio of complex client engagements across North Texas. This is a highly visible leadership role combining financial and analytical work, client relationship management, team development, and operational leadership. The Senior Manager will provide strategic guidance across multiple engagements while building relationships with clients and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring experience in finance-focused consulting, advisory, professional services, or a similarly complex client-facing environment , with a strong track record of developing teams, owning client relationships and service delivery, and driving process improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and Analysts, with a strong focus on career development, performance, and accountability. Oversee a portfolio of complex client engagements, ensuring high-quality, timely service delivery. Take ownership of client service and project execution, proactively resolving issues and removing obstacles before they require escalation to senior leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key external stakeholders. Lead client meetings, presentations, and discussions involving complex or sensitive matters. Oversee project timelines, deliverables, staffing, workloads, budgets, and priorities across the team. Identify risks proactively and develop solutions to protect client relationships and project outcomes. Drive process improvements, standardized workflows, and best practices to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability. Monitor team and engagement performance and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness. Partner with firm leadership on talent development, operational initiatives, and continued organizational growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 6+ years of progressive experience in consulting, advisory, professional services, or a related finance-focused, client-facing environment. Current or recent experience at the Manager level strongly preferred. Meaningful people leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and managing the performance of professional staff. Demonstrated experience owning complex client engagements and overall service delivery. Strong client relationship, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong financial and analytical capabilities. Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and competing priorities simultaneously. Demonstrated process improvement experience with a focus on improving efficiency, quality, and scalability. Experience in real estate, infrastructure, municipal finance, economic development, or the public sector is a plus but not required.
