Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neurosurgery/Neuroscience unit serving neurosurgery and neuroscience patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 on an 18-bed unit
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Adhere to facility dress code standards including navy blue scrubs and no artificial fingernails

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro and/or Neurosurgery nursing
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with neurosurgery and neuroscience patient populations
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
