Position Summary
The RN II is responsible for delivering direct nursing care to patients and their families, adhering to established protocols, policies, and practices.
Work Schedule : 32 Hours, Full-Time
Shift Timing : Evening - 3 PM to 11 PM
Work Location : M3 - Main Campus
Position Details
Essential Qualifications:
1. Valid RN License in Massachusetts.
2. 12 months to less than 3 years of nursing experience.
3. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
4. Specific certifications related to the department and type of patient care may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Engages in and stays informed about performance improvement initiatives.
Thoroughly assesses and incorporates evidence-based practices and research into clinical care.
Conducts and accurately documents clinical assessments.
Creates, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans for patients.
Utilizes professional judgment to tailor care plans based on patient assessments.
Manages patient assignments by delegating tasks effectively according to patient needs and team members' skills.
Designs a comprehensive educational plan for patients and families, utilizing appropriate resources and documenting in line with departmental standards.
Respects patient and family rights by supporting informed decisions and advanced directives.
Continuously assesses and updates care plans based on changes in patient health status.
Develops thorough discharge plans, incorporating relevant resources and referrals, including community services.
Assists in the onboarding and development of new staff members, facilitating their integration into the unit.
Mentors department staff to foster their professional growth through precepting.
Engages in professional development by identifying educational needs and pursuing relevant training.
Participates in departmental committees as required.

The base salary ranges reflect the minimum qualifications for this position.
