Cage Supervisor

Position Summary:

Assists in managing the day-to-day operation of the Cage, including, but not limited to monitoring, and complying with Title 31 regulations, working main bank as needed, providing documentation of all counts fulfilling all regulatory requirements, and assigning and monitoring Team Member tasks. Oversees cash handling, safeguards Company's assets and assists the Cage Manager.

Essential Functions:

1.Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide cultureand demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
2.Safeguard Company assets.
3.Assist in writing and implementing the necessary policies and procedures to ensure that cash handlingis performed within accepted standards established by management, accounting and regulatoryrequirements.
4.Responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed as required, and that all items are balanced atthe close of business.
5.Provide exceptional service to all external and internal guests.
6.Responsible for ensuring that all credit transactions are posted accurately to the computer and guests'accounts.
7.Issue credit in accordance with property credit policy.
8.Oversee the collections process.
9.Responsible for the final balancing of funds and assets assigned during shift.
10.Assist the Cashiers in the check cashing and credit needs of the Guests.
11.Ensure that all procedures set forth by the State Compact are followed.
12.Assist in hiring and supervising Cashiers in the performance of their duties.

Required Qualifications:

1.Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

2.One (1) to two (2) years of experience as a Cage Cashier preferred.

3.Basic understanding of accounting, gaming and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to Title 31 and minimum internal control standards (MICS).

4.Able to use equipment, such as coin sorters, currency counters, and calculators.

5.Ability to work varied schedules as business demands (including weekends, nights and holidays).

6.Computer spreadsheet skills.

7.Basic math and reading skills.

8.Must be able to handle multiple tasks and establish priorities effectively.

9.Flexible working hours and schedule required.

Physical Requirements:

1.Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters,numbers and symbols.
2. Ability to deal with high levels of stress.
3. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance.
4. Ability to work in a standing position for duration of shift.
5. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, carry and pull.
