Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join a traveling team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) in Tucson, AZ, at a hospital facility. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and vascular system. Contribute to patient care in a high-acuity environment while gaining experience with complex cases.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• Must have Cath Lab experience. Two years of experience in a hospital cath lab setting preferred.
• ARRT is required; RCIS will not be accepted as a substitute for ARRT. (Client-specific requirement.)
• BLS and ACLS certification. American Heart Association preferred.
• Experience scrubbing and monitoring sterile cath lab procedures including angiograms and PCI.
• Experience with complex cases such as CTO, left main interventions, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy, peripheral interventions, or IR cases preferred.
• STEMI coverage experience required.
• Experience using mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella and IABP expected.
• Monitoring and recording experience on MacLab preferred; willingness to train on MacLab required.
• Knowledge of cath lab inventory and ability to restock rooms required.
• EMR experience with Cerner preferred.
• State specific licensure when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Structural heart procedure experience preferred but not required.
• RCIS certification listed as preferred in standard materials but not acceptable in place of ARRT per client requirement.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0600 - 1630.
• Schedule: 4/10s (per facility order notes).
• On-call: approximately 9-10 shifts per month and one weekend on call (per facility order notes).
• EMR: Cerner.
• Responsibilities include scrubbing and monitoring, sterile technique, monitoring on MacLab (training provided), restocking rooms, and STEMI coverage.
