Contract Position (1099)

Our Stuart team is seeking experienced 1099 Roof Tile Installers who take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional workmanship. Action Roofing specializes in tile, shingle, metal, and flat roofing systems, with tile roofing being one of its core specialties.

Responsibilities

• Install concrete and clay tile roofing systems on residential projects.

• Remove and replace existing roofing materials as needed.

• Install underlayment, battens, flashing, vents, and other roofing components.

• Read work orders and installation specifications to ensure quality and code compliance.

• Maintain a clean and safe job site.

• Identify and report any decking or structural issues before installation.

• Work efficiently to meet production schedules without sacrificing quality.

• Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures.

• Communicate professionally with project managers and field supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of residential tile roofing installation experience.

• Experience with concrete and clay tile roofing systems.

• Ability to perform tear-offs, repairs, and complete roof installations.

• Must have your own tools, transportation, and safety equipment.

• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work comfortably at heights.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Must carry or be able to obtain any required insurance for 1099 contractors.
