This position is responsible for keeping our carts in top working condition to ensure safe, reliable transportation for our guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on mechanical work and takes pride in vehicle maintenance. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on golf carts including oil changes, filter replacements, battery service, and tire rotations Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues Conduct pre- and post-rental inspections to document vehicle condition Test drive carts to identify problems and verify repairs Maintain detailed service records and maintenance logs Order and manage parts inventory Keep work area clean and organized Communicate with management about fleet condition and needed repairs Ensure all work meets safety standards and company guidelines Perform other operational duties reasonably associated with the position and resort needs. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience repairing small engines, golf carts, ATVs, or similar vehicles Knowledge of basic electrical systems and troubleshooting Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to/from work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience specifically with golf cart maintenance Certification in small engine repair or similar Experience with battery and electrical systems Knowledge of OSHA safety standards Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Comfortable working in outdoor conditions Ability to bend, kneel, and work in various positions What We Offer Competitive hourly wage Casual island work environment Opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles Team environment focused on guest satisfaction Additional Information The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
