Dental Assistant

We are seeking a Certified/Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will assist our dentists in providing high-quality dental care to patients.

Qualifications:

• Certification/registration as a Dental Assistant
• X-ray certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and taking X-rays
• Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring equipment is in working order
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Schedule patient appointments and assist with billing procedures
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to ensure a safe and confidential environment
