Shift Manager

The Shift Manager has the responsibility for directing the daily operations of a quick service restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, financial accountability, ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers and other duties as required. The person applying for this position must have excellent communication skills. Previous management experience is a must. You must be a minimum age of 18+ years old for this job. Responsibilities Works with leadership team to ensure appropriate daily and restaurant staffing levels Achieve strategic, annual business results through focus and action on tactical monthly and quarterly objectives and tasks Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback Serves as subject matter expert to leadership and team for ongoing hospitality, customer service, and kitchen support Responsible for inventory and facilities management Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the store Continuously strategizes how to improve sales and processes in the restaurant Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds Follow Chick-fil-A’s operational policies and procedures Required Skills Self-leader committed to personal growth Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic Positive attitude Willingness to step outside of job role to assist in other roles Customer-service oriented Effective communication skills with not only our guests but other team members as well Must be an excellent coach, communicator, and team builder Strong desire to serve others Consistent sense of urgency and works at an efficient, yet thorough pace Ability to multitask Honors and encourages others to follow the visions and values of the restaurant You will be required to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, with excellent communication skills.
