Weekend Forklift OperatorThe Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, store, and stage products while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to following all safety procedures.Key responsibilities include:Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, and pallet jacks (as certified).Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments efficiently and accurately.Transport products to designated storage locations and replenish picking locations as needed.Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Verify product quantities, labels, lot numbers, and packaging for accuracy.Perform inventory movements using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners.Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with companyQualifications include:Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferredFamiliarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Stand up forklift experienceReach forklift experiencePhysical requirements include:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment throughout the work shift.
