Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings is responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to residents. This role involves evaluating residents, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with the care team to maximize functional abilities and promote independence. The position is based in Lawrence, Massachusetts, with a schedule of day shifts working 8 hours per day.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Active license as a Physical Therapist in the applicable state; Bachelors degree required; prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred; at least 1 year of relevant experience recommended.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing evaluative and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of healthcare providers, maintaining documentation in the Electronic Medical Record, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings. The incumbent will also provide education to residents and caregivers, supervise assistant-level staff when appropriate, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. The position demands physical capabilities to perform tasks involving sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier lifts.
