Hours Per Week 4 Job Description This role is open to both Certified Medical Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates! Hands‑On Clinical Work – Administer meds, give immunizations, collect specimens, and assist with minor procedures like wound care, suture removal, and more. Tech Savvy & Detail‑Oriented – Keep patient records up to date in our electronic medical records (EMR) system. Team Player Extraordinaire – Support providers, participate in team huddles, and help keep the clinic running like a well‑oiled machine. Patient Educator – Help patients understand their treatment plans, new medications, and follow‑up care. What You Bring To The Table Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent and Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NRCMA, or CCMA) – Required at time of hire and must be maintained. Certification: Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain before starting). Knowledge & Skills – Knowledge of POCT, Immunizations, and Injections – You’ll be giving shots like a pro! Strong Problem‑Solving Skills – You think on your feet and adapt quickly. Excellent Organization & Time Management – You keep things running like a well‑oiled machine. Customer Service Rockstar – Patients feel comfortable and cared for in your hands. Tech‑Savvy – Comfortable with Microsoft applications and EMR systems. Radiology Certification (if applicable) – If the role requires X‑ray functions, you must have radiology training from your MA program or a validated competency checklist. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) From conducting assessments and collecting patient data to administering medications and documenting care, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent healthcare.
