API / Backend Engineer - Java, Python & GenAI Location's: Phoenix, AZ & Charlotte, NC. On-site. Job Description: Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and Microservices . Experience designing and developing API/backend services using microservice-based architecture. Strong programming experience in Python , with exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI applications. Experience with LLMs, GenAI, TensorFlow and integrating AI capabilities into backend/API solutions. Experience with Google Vertex AI / Vertex and cloud-based AI services. Strong experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven and distributed applications. Good knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases . Experience with Maven, Git, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines . Strong understanding of scalable, secure and high-performance API/backend architecture . Experience developing and integrating GenAI/LLM-based solutions with enterprise backend applications. Good understanding of cloud environments and modern DevOps practices.
