Overview Job Description. Shift: 7 am – 3:30 pm. THIS IS NOT A "REMOTE" POSITION! Quality Control Scientist Job Description: Performs laboratory analyses, identifies and solves problems to provide efficient and accurate reporting of results. Performs testing, daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on Hematology systems. Maintains necessary processes and procedures that ensure that required specifications are met per laboratory processes. Ability to multitask, possess interpersonal skills, ability to adjust to change, good communication and writing skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills. Ensures compliance to all FDA QSR/cGMP, ISO, and Quality Policies of Beckman Coulter. Responsibilities Note: Responsibilities are described in the original job description as part of the summary. Education High School degree with 5+ years experience in Medical Laboratory Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in Science discipline and Medical field, or relevant years of Quality Control experience Medical Technician or Technologist License Personal Skills / Attributes Able to make judgment calls using knowledge of regulations, technology, critical thinking, and interpretation of regulatory intent. Ability to drive results, foster teamwork, handle pressure, and provide feedback. Ability to perform detail‑oriented work with a high degree of accuracy. Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in a team‑based environment. Proficient in MS Office software. Excellent oral and written technical communication skills.
