Project Duration: 3–4 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Low Voltage / DAS Technicians for a 3–4 month project at the Tucson International Airport . Candidates should have hands-on experience with DAS system installation , including coaxial and fiber optic cabling , DRAN systems , and radio equipment installation .
Key Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test coax and fiber optic cables per project specifications.
Support installation and commissioning of DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) and DRAN equipment.
Mount and configure remote radio heads (RRHs) , antennas, and associated hardware.
Perform signal testing and troubleshooting using appropriate tools (e.g., PIM, sweep testing).
Follow safety guidelines and airport security protocols at all times.
Work effectively with project managers, engineers, and fellow technicians.
Requirements:
Proven experience with coax, fiber , and DAS installations .
Familiarity with DRAN and radio system setup .
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scopes of work.
Reliable transportation and the ability to pass airport background/security checks.
Must have appropriate PPE and basic hand tools.
OSHA 10 or higher preferred.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with possible weekend or after-hours work depending on project needs.
