Aircraft Tech B (Avionics Installer)

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Tech B (Avionics Installer) to join our New Helicopter Completions team based in Columbus, MS.

You will be part of the team to perform avionics and electrical installations and checkouts on assigned aircraft or parts and subassemblies. Routes, terminates aircraft harnesses, and performs safety checks prior to power application.

Your challenges:

• Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in themanufacture, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft.* Install electrical harness and sub-assemblies in aircraft by performing, but not limited to, the following activities; basic identification of wire and coax cable, clamping, bundling, mounting, routing, stripping, splicing, soldering, termination.
• Perform wire harness continuity checks, operational tests, and troubleshoot/ repair discrepancies.

Your boarding pass:

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience in electrical installation (Industrial, Automotive, or telecommunications)

Citizenship:

• US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
