Job Description\n Nexus Medpro Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Matthews, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 20 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Travel MS/Tele RN – Matthews, NC | Up to $2,079/Week | 3x12 Nights\n Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with a reputable healthcare system in Matthews, North Carolina.\n Assignment Details\n * Location: Matthews, NC\n * Start Date: October 5, 2026\n * Duration: 20 weeks\n * Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts\n * Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM\n * Hours: 36 hours/week\n * Openings: 2\n * Estimated Weekly Pay: Up to $2,079/week\n * Scheduling: Self-scheduling\n * Travel Experience: Not required\n Requirements\n * Minimum 2 years of experience – HARD STOP\n * Current RN license eligible to practice in North Carolina\n * BLS\n * NIHSS\n * MS/Tele experience\n * Epic experience preferred\n * Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation\n * IV therapy and phlebotomy\n * Blood product administration\n * Central and peripheral line care\n * Rapid Response/Code Team experience\n * Isolation precautions/PPE\n * Non-invasive airway management and oxygen therapy\n Unit Highlights\n This is a 40-bed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, with an emphasis on bariatric and orthopedic care.\n * Approximately 39-patient daily census\n * Floating required\n * Approximately 2–3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks\n * Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests\n * 36 hours of orientation\n * Strong interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, physical therapy, social services, Rapid Response and lift teams\n Compensation\n Up to $2,079 per week\n Up to $2,079/week may include taxable wages and applicable non-taxable travel stipends for qualified travelers.
