Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist), Rochester, NY. This travel temporary assignment begins 07/27/2026 for weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,870–$1,962. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. Work in a hospital-based setting focused on ventilator management, rotating between acute care and LTAC-style units. Orientation is provided.

Responsibilities
- Manage ventilator support for adult patients, including BiPAP/CPAP, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and weaning as appropriate.
- Provide airway care and pulmonary hygiene: suctioning, endotracheal/trach care, extubation assist, ABG sampling.
- Deliver respiratory therapies and devices: HFNC, nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and related airway interventions.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor respiratory status, interpret ABGs, and document in EPIC per facility compliance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (respiratory therapy, IV teams, PT, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response, social services, unit secretary, interpretation services, phlebotomy, transportation); participate in rapid response as needed.
- Float between acute and LTAC settings as assigned; participate in on-call nights ~every other week.

Requirements
- Licenses and certifications: NY license in hand to submit; BLS, RRT, ACLS required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required; EPIC charting experience required (facility compliance).
- Additional: Patient ratio experience ~1:20; ability to work in rotating acute and LTAC settings; EPIC charting proficiency.
- Local candidate policy: No local candidates within 50 miles; candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
