We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee our daily warehouse operations, inventory, receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse personnel. This position requires a highly organized leader who can maintain accurate inventory, establish efficient processes, meet shipping deadlines, and ensure that every order is handled accurately and professionally.

Primary Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Manage all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory organization, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for all warehouse functions.
• Establish daily priorities and allocate personnel based on order volume, incoming shipments, and customer deadlines.
• Monitor warehouse capacity and recommend improvements to storage layouts and workflows.
• Ensure merchandise is properly labeled, stored, protected, and easily located.

Receiving and Quality Control

• Coordinate and supervise the receipt of domestic and international shipments.
• Verify incoming merchandise against purchase orders, packing lists, and shipping documents.
• Inspect incoming products for quantity, quality, decoration, packaging, and specification accuracy.
• Document shortages, damages, defects, and other discrepancies.
• Communicate receiving results promptly to management and other departments.
• Organize samples, returned merchandise, project materials, and back stock.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records across all customer programs and warehouse locations.
• Ensure all inventory receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments are entered accurately and promptly.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts and assist with complete physical inventory counts.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor aged, damaged, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
• Maintain clear separation and identification of inventory by customer, program, SKU, and order.
• Coordinate with accounting to support accurate inventory valuation and cost-of-goods reporting.

Order Fulfillment and Shipping

• Oversee the picking, packing, verification, and shipment of e-commerce, corporate, retail, and bulk orders.
• Ensure orders are shipped accurately and within established service-level requirements.
• Coordinate high-volume customer distributions, employee programs, and special projects.
• Verify shipping labels, addresses, packing slips, quantities, and packaging before release.
• Manage domestic and international shipments using approved carriers and shipping methods.
• Work with Shopify, ShipStation, and related systems to manage orders and shipping activity.
• Monitor carrier performance, delivery exceptions, lost packages, damage claims, and shipping costs.
• Ensure customer-specific packing, labeling, routing, and documentation requirements are followed.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse and fulfillment employees.
• Assign daily responsibilities and establish clear productivity and accuracy expectations.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Identify staffing needs based on order volume and seasonal demand.
• Enforce company policies, attendance standards, and workplace safety procedures.

Communication and Reporting

• Provide management with regular updates regarding inventory, incoming shipments, outstanding orders, staffing, and potential delays.
• Coordinate closely with sales, account management, purchasing, accounting, customer service, and production teams.
• Maintain accurate records for receiving, inventory adjustments, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Prepare weekly operational reports covering order volume, shipping performance, inventory accuracy, and outstanding issues.
• Identify operational problems early and recommend practical solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of warehouse, distribution, inventory, or fulfillment experience
• Minimum of two years of warehouse supervisory or management experience
• Experience managing receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping
• Experience supervising and training warehouse employees
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet firm deadlines
• Proficiency with computers, inventory systems, email, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with other departments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify and ShipStation
• Experience in branded merchandise, apparel, promotional products, e-commerce, or third-party fulfillment
• Experience managing inventory for multiple customers or programs
• Experience coordinating freight, parcel, and international shipments
• Knowledge of warehouse safety requirements and best practices

Physical and Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, reach, climb, and perform routine warehouse activities
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work additional hours during peak seasons or major customer distributions when required
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required
