This role involves providing specialized care for patients with critical health conditions, including monitoring and titrating drips, managing complex diagnoses such as CHF, pneumonia, COPD, and sepsis, and collaborating with a charge nurse and house supervisor to ensure quality patient care during night shifts. Job Details Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Education Requirements: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) Degree Requirements: RN licensure Location Requirements: Must hold a current RN license and be willing to wait for processing Years of Experience: 3 years of ICU experience, 1 year of travel experience preferred Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shifts, starting at 7 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week Float: Float rotation may be required Additional Information: The unit has 6 beds set up for CCU (Critical Care Unit) level patients, with flexibility to accommodate MedSurg Pediatrics patients as needed. Staff will be involved in quality projects and initiatives, and must manage med drawer keys securely. Expectations include managing patient acuity, titrating drips such as Cardizem, insulin, and norepinephrine, and participating in a supportive work environment focused on positive culture and teamwork. Applicants should be flexible to work every third weekend and during major and minor holidays as scheduled.
