Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk perinatal care within a Level III unit encompassing labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, triage, and OR settings
• Manage labor patients at a 1:1 ratio, couplets at 1:3 in postpartum with CNA support, and antepartum patients at a 1:2–3 ratio
• Perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE) as required for patient assessment and care planning
• Float to postpartum as needed to support unit staffing and continuity of care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including delivering providers, CRNAs, surgical techs, CNAs, and health unit coordinators available 24/7
• Document all patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Demonstrated ability to perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE) — hard stop requirement
• Availability to work weekends and commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a facility managing 200 or more deliveries per month
• Candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Prior experience in high-risk perinatal or Level III perinatal settings
