Strategy Implementation ManagerThe Strategy and Implementation Manager will play a highly visible role in leading transformation in General Internal Medicine, the largest ambulatory department at Boston Medical Center Health System. The role will develop critical analyses, engage clinical and operational leaders, and implement change.Department: Primary Care ClinicSchedule: Full TimeGeneral Internal Medicines 200 primary care providers conduct more than 135,000 visits per year. We are looking for a Strategy and Implementation Manager to lead strategic projects that improve operations and enhance patient care and experience. Under the Departments Director of Operations, the Strategy and Implementation Manager works closely with senior leadership and stakeholders within the Department and across BMCs ambulatory space to implement change.The Strategy Manager will play a highly visible role in leading transformation in BMC primary care. The role will develop critical analyses, engage clinical and operational leaders, and implement change.Responsibilities may include:Developing a system of performance metrics and reporting infrastructure that supports key practice goalsLeading projects that identify new revenue streams and billing opportunitiesSpearheading initiatives that optimize patient thruput and experienceProviding operational leadership and support to key clinical and population health interventionsLeading senior managers and other stakeholders in the development of new workflows, operating procedures, and programsDeveloping and maintaining a strategic plan for the practiceCore duties:Works under the direction of Director of OperationsFacilitates discussions with stakeholders to drive forward project objectives and overcome barriersConducts analysis (Excel) and communicates insights (PowerPoint)Job RequirementsEducation:Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred)Experience:2-5 years experience in consulting or management of strategic health care projectsKnowledge and Skills:Confidence and adaptability to tackle complex and unstructured problemsPositive attitude and willingness to own all aspects of a projectSuperb communication skills to distill complicated issues into clear recommendationsExpert quantitative analysis and critical reasoning skills to structure and carry out analysesStrong interpersonal skills to navigate competing stakeholder interestsAbility to work independently and with matrixed teamsAbility to manage and prioritize across multiple projects to meet deadlinesCompensation Range: $71,500.00- $104,000.00This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
