What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for patients of all ages.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with patient and family input.
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per protocols.
• Participate in patient care conferences, team meetings, and in-service programs.
• Counsel patients and families on care and discharge planning.
• Supervise and coordinate physical therapy student programs, volunteers, and staff.
• Assist with department operations and clinical program development.
• Support departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of community resources for patient referrals.
• Ensure patient care is adapted to meet age-specific and developmental needs.

What You Need

• Required:
• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification from AHA
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Preferred:
• Experience with diverse patient populations and clinical supervision skills
