School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | New Britain, Connecticut

As an SLP-CCC, you will provide direct therapy, conduct comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with educators and families from late October through early June, working 35 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience providing services in school settings preferred
• Strong background in conducting assessments, evaluations, and direct therapy
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP development, goal writing, and progress monitoring
• Skilled communicator able to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other service providers
• Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and meeting all compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, in-person speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs
• Administer assessments and conduct evaluations to identify and address speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress toward IEP goals
• Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide necessary documentation and recommendations
• Inform and engage families on progress and strategies for home support
