Title: Direct Support Staff - Community Access Program (IDD) Location: Cobb County

Schedule: Tues & Thurs Shift Hours: 8AM - 4PM Rate: $16/hour

Make a difference in the community! Join our team and support adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities in fully community-based activities - no in-home services, all outings and engagement in real-world settings.

What You'll Do

Support individuals during community outings

Encourage independence & social skills

Assist with goals for individuals or groups

Daily vehicle safety checks (fluids, tires, safety equipment)

Help individuals in/out of the vehicle

Maintain arms-length safety distancing in public

Drive throughout the community

Requirements

High School diploma/GED

BLS Certification (preferred)

Mindset Training (preferred)

2 years IDD experience

21+ years old

Clean driving record

Reliable, patient, and professional

Strong community navigation skills

Ability to pass a background check

Work Environment You'll be out in the community - parks, stores, libraries, volunteer sites - with exposure to heat, cold, wet, and sometimes humid conditions.
