In this role, you will oversee and strengthen the business’s cyber risk posture, ensuring security practices are aligned with organizational priorities.You will lead and coordinate major cybersecurity uplift programs, provide first-line leadership in cyber incident management, and partner closely with stakeholders across the business to embed effective, risk-aware security practices.In this role, you serve as a senior cybersecurity leader and the primary liaison between Global Information Security and the business, ensuring alignment between security priorities and organizational objectives. You are a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of security risks, technologies, and regulatory frameworks, and a skilled communicator who can translate complex concepts into actionable solutions. You are highly organized, collaborative, and effective at managing competing priorities while adapting to a dynamic security landscape.“I am the person Capital Group is looking for.”You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, business, technology, or a related field. Security certifications such as CISSP are a plus.You have at least 10 years of experience in cyber security.You have worked in the financial industry or technology sector, with knowledge of how to collaborate effectively with business units to implement security policies.You have a strong understanding of cyber security technologies and tools, including data protection strategies, encryption, and access management.You've worked with cross-functional technology teams to implement privacy controls in complex environments.You understand technology controls as they relate to data protection (e.g. encryption)You have managed and influenced stakeholders at all levels of the organizationEvaluate and govern the use of AI technologies to ensure alignment with cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory, and third-party risk management requirements.Utilize AI-driven capabilities to enhance threat detection, risk assessment, vendor oversight, and security operations effectiveness.Advise business stakeholders on the secure and responsible deployment of AI solutions, balancing innovation with risk management and compliance obligations“I can apply in less than 4 minutes.” You’ve reviewed this job posting and you’re ready to start the candidate journey with us.
