Radiation Therapist (ARRT) - PRN

Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center Franklin is seeking an ARRT-certified Radiation Therapist (RT(T)) to provide occasional PRN coverage within our outpatient Radiation Oncology program. This position utilizes advanced Varian TrueBeam, IGRT, and Aria/Epic technologies while supporting adult oncology patients in a collaborative cancer care environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiation Therapist seeking schedule flexibility while remaining connected to clinical practice and delivering exceptional patient care. You'll join a supportive and experienced team consisting of a working supervisor, two full-time Radiation Therapists, and an additional PRN therapist, all dedicated to providing high-quality cancer care close to home for patients in Franklin and throughout Middle Tennessee.

What You'll Do

• Deliver safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam technology
• Verify patient positioning and treatment imaging according to established protocols
• Document treatments and patient information within Aria and Epic
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, medical physicists, nurses, and other oncology professionals
• Educate and support patients throughout their treatment experience
• Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and compassionate care

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T))
• Current BLS Certification

Preferred

• Prior Radiation Therapy experience preferred
• Therapists returning to clinical practice are encouraged to apply
• Experience with Varian systems, Aria, and IGRT preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable attendance and scheduling flexibility
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team environment
