Role Overview Reporting to the Store Manager, as a Retail Specialist you will act as an ambassador of the brand. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience and driving sales. This position involves engaging with guests, understanding their needs, and providing knowledgeable assistance to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized and visually appealing store, handling transactions efficiently, and staying informed about the latest products and promotions. Responsibilities Represent Skymint in a positive manner. Effectively communicate current promotions. Drive sales and shape the Skymint guest experience. Promote guest retention through exceptional service. Ensure store compliance standards are met. Handle cash and operate a point‑of‑sale system. Recommend cannabis products to guests based on their needs. Stay current with new products, trends, operations and regulations using the Skymint Learning Management System. Perform daily tasks including servicing guests, cleaning, stocking, order fulfillment and store merchandising. Qualifications Excellent guest service skills. Desire to develop knowledge of our products and services. Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude. Basic computer and information technology skills. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Physical requirements: ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs. Must be 21 years old and able to pass a background check. Preferred Qualifications Prior sales and retail experience. Prior cannabis industry knowledge. Experience in a heavily regulated environment.
