What You'll Do

• Provide symptom management and comfort care for palliative patients, including those with uncontrolled pain, nausea, fatigue, and other symptoms
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Support patients and families through difficult times with compassionate communication
• Participate in unit training and onboarding for the new palliative care unit opening on 07/01/2026

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Ohio or ability to obtain
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years' RN experience in related settings
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Ability to float across units of similar acuity
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus

About the Assignment

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new palliative care unit scheduled to open on July 1, 2026. Prior to the opening, travelers will float to inpatient units to gain diverse experience among various patient populations. The unit focuses on improving quality of life through symptom control and end-of-life comfort care, offering meaningful work in a supportive environment.
